Using the Garage Band application, we learned to compose music to get a feel on how easy or difficult music can be composed for game use. Before, we watched a talk online with Brian Eno and Will Wright on the development of music and game.
While trying to compose music from a variety of preset instruments in Garage Band, I kept in mind Brian Eno's words of wisdom. Music should be simply composed for listening ease.
I tend to gravitate towards orchestras, because of the soothing sounds. My finished product is entitled sad orchestra . This piece can be used during a tragic event in a video game.
